Licensed by the National Environment Agency and certified to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:1996 and OHSAS 18001:1999 standards, we have been safely disposing bio-hazardous, cytotoxic, radioactive, pharmaceutical and liquid bio-wastes from major hospitals, private clinics, embalmment centres, pharmaceutical companies and laboratories in Singapore since 1989. A Stringent System Aystematic approach with stringent measures ensure that the environment is unharmed, public health interest is safeguarded and legislation adhered to. Ourmployees are well trained and qualified in the proper collection procedures and our fleet of specially designed collection trucks is watertight and regularly disinfected. Dedicated Incineration PlantMedical waste is sent to Sembcorp Enviro? dedicated incineration plant where it is thermally degraded to a small amount of ash at temperatures in excess of 1000 degrees Celsius. This ensures the complete destruction of micro-organisms and pathogens. There is no need for medical workers to segregate waste, thus minimising the risk of injury from infectious waste and sharps. ContainersSembcorp Enviro supplies a full range of sharps containers to cater to every requirement: Safe, reliable and secure design Mobile and free-standing accessories Safety funnels and purpose-designed openings Colour-coded system to differentiate between waste types Other receptacles for clinical and related wastes are available in various sizes ranging from 1.63 to 12 litres, all of which are convenient, secure and colour-coded.
