The enclosing frames are assembled in a rigid manner and incorporated in a single or double header as required by job conditions, the headers are gasketed with poly foam on vertical sides to prevent leakage when installed in framing modules or side access housings.

GULFPAC filters are constructed from exclusive high efficiency media made of sub micron glass fibers formed into high density paper, filter media is both water resistant and fire retardant, the media can withstand intermittent exposure to water, when wet, there will be a temporary rise in resistance, which returns to normal as the moisture evaporates, continuous sheets of fiber paper are pleated and separated by corrugated aluminum
separators to provide a high ratio of media to face area, this results in lower resistance and lower velocity through the media which is essential for high efficiency filtration.

GULFPAC filters may be used wherever job requirements dictate totally rigid filters and
available space will allow for only 6 or 12 deep filters. GAFCOs GULFPAC filters should be installed with separators vertical wherever possible. It is permissible to install 24 x 12 face size cartridges with separators horizontal if necessary to meet the size requirements of the filter bank.
