All the weighing data, the name of the users, date and time ofdisposal etc. are stored on a memory-card through which the user isinvoiced.

The garbage bag is placed on the second closure of the Geminisystem where it is weighed and its weight stored locally in amicroprocessor system. Once the weight has been stored an electricactuator opens the second closure and the garbage bag drops into theskip.

The Operating Principle
The licensed Geminisystem user receives a magnetic key or badge with its identificationdetails; when the badge reader recognises the user, it releases thegarbage disposal loading mouth.

USER IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
The system is also designed for the application of a weighing system inthe loading tower that may be installed successively if required. Ahigh-precision loading cell detects the weight andstores the differentweights by means of a microprocessor instrument.

"Gemini" consists of an underground tank fitted at the top with a central lid; the rest of the tank is completely underground.
The tank contains three skips which are manoeuvred into position by ahydraulic system under the single central loading mouth of the tank.The user selects the type of garbage with the keys on the front of theloading mouth to open the loading mouth and manoeuvre the skip selectedinto position.
The loading mouth may be closed either by pressing the closing button or in any case automatically after a preset time. Whenthe skips is returned to its position a photocell reads the garbagelevel and stops the system when a preset level is reached; in this casethe text skip full is displayed.
A remote control system is used to empty the skips and allows thedriver of the compactor to open the lid, move the skip selected andlift it to road level.

- The internal skips are in sanded and painted carbon steel or AISI 304 stainless steel (optional) and are unloaded by the same single-operator side-loading or clamping self-compactor

- The underground tank contains 3 skips with a total internal capacity of 9200 lt.
