This product is formed by sieving high-quality silica stone, washing free of impurites. The density is 2.66, SiO2>98%, and Mohs scale is 7 degree. It is mainly used for non-valve filter, siphon filter, high-speed filter, ion exchanger supporting layer, etc. With such remakable features as low price, long-time usuage, high mechanical strength and not easy to break, the life cycle of natural silica sand is 3-8 times longer than that of broken silica sand. And the filtered water from natural silica sand is more stable. Comparatively speaking, natural silica sand is more affordable and durable.
