For traditional secondary biological treatment, including Activated Sludge and Biofilm reactors, flocculation-sedimentation is required as the after-treatment process. The settling tank is large and cost expensive.  Our F2 treatment can be used to replace the flocculation- sedimentation process and leave out the settling tank. In general, the total cost of the whole system will then save over 30%.

For advanced water treatment with ultra-filtration, nano-filtration, electrolysis, etc, our LF Filter can be used as a high precision pre-treatment process.

our new Long Binned Fibrous Filtration System can be applied to the following circumstance.

For raw water with turbidity under 20 NTU, our LF Filter can provide effluence with turbidity under 1, usually even 0.5 NTU, by direct filtering without any dosing. Thanks to the large specific surface area over 10,000 m2/m3 of the fibrous filter media, our LF Filter can also remove soluble COD, ammonia and nitride form nitrogen, and even bacteria by reversible adsorption. The removal capabilities are 15 mg/L, 2 mg/L and 3000 CFU/mL respectively.

Using 1 set of our LF Filter to substitute 5 sets of sand filter with the same size. The cost performance of both investment and operation of the system increase nearly 8 fold.
