PROaqua 4200 Drinking Water System
Product Details
The PROaqua 4200 was designed to fit under the kitchen sink, since the daily required potable and cooking water is tapped solely in the kitchen. Thus, clean, contamination free and pleasant tasting
potable water is available from a seperate tap at any one time. However, the filter can be installed for different purposes, i.e. before and/or after appliances, e.g. where softened water is
required.
Regeneration:
The potable water filter PROaqua 4200 can be regenerated by the user in a very simple way. A regeneration is required in intervals of approx. 3 month or according to the following requirements:
when the absorption capacity of the nitrate resin is exhausted, e.g. in cases of a nitrate load of approx. 100mg/l and at a consumption of approx. 10 l/per day a regeneration is recommened from a
nitrite leakage of approx. 10mg/l. This corresponds to a period of about 12 weeks.
when after a long filtering time, the germ membrane is obstructed by bacteria (this is noticed by a reduced flow rate from 2 l/min to 1l/min, for example).
when the filter is used for the first time or after a long standstill,
when cartridges or membranes have to be replaced.
The counterflow regeneration guarantees an optimal purification of all the filter media's and materials.
