Thermal Distillation

IDE is internationally recognized as a pioneer and leader in the delivery of Thermal Distillation plants. IDE's Low Temperature Thermal Distillation units are available in two versions, energy supplied either by a unique electrically driven mechanical compressor - Mechanical Vapor Compression (MVC), or by low pressure steam - Multi Effect Distillation (MED). These systems are capable of producing boiler feed water from sea water in a single step.IDE's Low Temperature Distillation units operate at maximum brine temperatures of less than 70oC. Low distillation temperature is the basis for a series of features creating the highly economical operation that is the core of IDE's MVC / MED units.
