The biocidal active material in "ALGAE-GON 247" is already fullydissolved,and more importantly, the release of its active ingredientsis controlled by biological demand ( such as an algae bloom andbacterial contamination ) instead of by water conditions. This allowstreatment before an outbreak occurs. The active material will notprecipitate out of solution, but will remain fully dissolvedindefinitely, thereby insuring long-term control without over treatment.

The algae control, apply the product in late spring or early summerwhen algae first appear or any period when minimal growth is occurring.The dosages are variable and depend upon algae species, water hardness,water temperature, amount of algae present, as well as whether water isclear, turbid, green, flowing or static. Preferably, the water shouldnot be colored with temperature above 60'F. Higher dosages are required at lower temperatures, for higher algae concentrations and for hard water.
