The mats placed on the pipes of the towers uses a magnetic feild, which breaks down the water solids,the calcium, and controls bacteria.

Before the mats were placed on, the tower was using up to 14,000 liters of water, bleed off per day. Today, as of the 8-12-08, the tower uses 0-6% water bleed off, the bacteria and legionella are nil, the pipes are totally clear of any buildup of calcium, including the heat exchanger, and the power to run the pumps, has dropped a huge 25%. There has been an enquiry from the Electricity Commission, as to why the Plaza is not using the same electricity, as it was 6 months ago.
