DIMENSIONS: The lightweight self-contained unit is 48 X 27 X 25 and is designed to fit a HUMVEE or small truck. The dry weight of the water treatment unit is less than 300 pounds.

THE ASPEN 1000DM IS FABRICATED with the finest grade stainless steel, lightweight aircraft alloys and high tech non-corrosive materials. It is housed in a custom molded military proven Hardigg case allowing it to fit the Humvee as well as other small vehicles. The membranes are custom wound to meet higher than industry standards and will provide extended use with less degradation and failure.

THE 1000DM IS WHISPER QUIET, as much as 5 times quieter than conventional systems by the use of the energy recovery system available only on an Aspen system. The combination of a high efficiency DC primary pump and the energy recovery system eliminates the need for high-pressure adjustment in the field when using water at different levels of salinity. The Aspen 1000DM constantly monitors product salinity and filter condition when in use, will alarm if service is needed, and will flush itself automatically at the end of its programmable run duration. Another unique feature is a patented electrical field generator that charges the incoming water with 35000 volts of electricity placing a positive charge on particles in the water that allow for higher and faster rejection and at the same time significantly reducing membrane fouling.

THE ASPEN 1000DM IS OPERATED BY the most sophisticated automatic controller and electronic monitoring module available today, providing trouble free service no matter how demanding the environment. While other systems use gauges and require constant monitoring with repeated reference to an operating manual, a quick scroll through the Aspen digital display will provide the operator with the exact status of the system.

THE ASPEN 1000DM is 5 times more energy efficient than a conventional AC system and provides wire to water at 12 watts per gallon. (Less than half of the energy requirement for a hair dryer or less than 650 watts) Total usage is 1.2 KW per 1000 gallons rivaling large commercial units on efficiency and never before available in such a small system. The unit can run directly off of a 24/28-volt Humvee or other US or NATO Military vehicle and will automatically recognize and convert AC power sources to 24-volts DC.

The ASPEN 1000DM Reverse Osmosis water purification system will supply up to 1,000 gallons per day (just under one gallon per minute) of highly purified water from virtually any non-chlorinated water source including seawater! It features a patented energy recovery pumping system allowing it to be powered directly from a vehicles battery or even solar panels. A separate generator is not required.
