This treatment will prevent scale formation from residual hardness in addition to conditioning sludge. LC 101 is a balanced blend of polymers, which are mildly alkaline scale and corrosion inhibitors in addition to sodium sulfite for added pitting and corrosion protection. If 20 to 30 ppm (mg/l) of sulfite cannot be maintained with a normal dosage of LC 101, add LC 102 to hold this recommended level. ApplicationEasily fed to the boiler as a slug dosage or by chemical proportioning pump directly into the boiler. It can also be injected into the feedwater tank. Formula LC 101 contains no heavy metals. DosageInitial dosage is one (1) quart per 1,000 gallons and one (1) quart thereafter for every 800 gallons of make-up water. Maintain 20-3- ppm (mg/l) of orthophosphate in the boiler
