The MYPUMP submersible aerators can be moved around the tank by adjusting the length of wire ropes tied to the 3-floating ball pontoons, thereby enabling total skimming for the entire tank.
The MYPUMP floating scum skimmer operates on a 0.75kw motor pump and can skim scums at a rate of 0.2 m3/min @ 2 metres head.
The floating ball pontoons can be adjusted to achieve the desired submergence of the suction mouth to suit the site conditions and requirements.
MYPUMP Floating Scum Skimmers are used extensively to provide consistent and reliable skimming of unwanted floating scums, oil & grease, dirt and etc in water and wastewater treatment plants. Scum suction is high due to the jet-mixture of water and air occuring inside the floating scum skimmers generating a negative pressure zone at the skimmer's suction mouth. This therefore creates a strong suction effect, and thus skimming off the floating scums, oil & grease etc.
