Grit chambers are tanks designed to slow water down for the grit (sand, grit, and gravel) to drop to the bottom.
Mojan grit chambers are rectangular and have sludge hoppers with relatively steep sides.
Each chamber is equipped with a traveling bridge used for the collection and removal of scum and sludge. The bridge has a bogie at each end which may travel directly on the concrete edges or on
rails.
Mojan traveling bridge is a standard product adaptable to the customer specific needs.
