Remember: Your goal is to keep the weight of the hat off the brim.

Either place brimmed hats upside down or put tissue paper inside the crown of the hat. (Museums use acid-free tissues). 

For temporary storage, use a hat stand.

For long storage periods, place hat in hat box (cardboard or cloth covered).

Do not stack one hat on top of the other.  Doing so can cause the hat's shape to be distorted.  It will definitely crush the trim.

Always store your hat in a dry, cool place.

How to Store (in general):

?span style="font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"">         Protect your hat in inclement weather, water, rain snow can damage some straws.

?span style="font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"">        Pick up the hat by placing one hand on the back of the hat brim and the other on the front. This will keep you from crushing the delicate crown.

Hat Care:
