Before we adventured Seafood in the summer of 2001, we had been in international trade for 15 years. Sepehr Shargh Co., a family business owned by my father and elder brothers, is the parent company of Seven Seas Fishes. For years we have been importing raw materials for different industries in Iran. This includes mainly steel products such as stainless steel flat products and some specialty papers.
Seven Seas Fishes has been established with the view of providing dedicated and quality services to our customers. We do not possess a factory at this time. We, however, rent others' facilities and do all the production process ourselves. From collecting fish to processing and packaging is done by our own production team which seems to be the major factor in determining quality of seafood products. The variety of fishes as well as the scope of our operation covering all the Iranian coast of Persian Gulf from Abadan to Cha-bahar, have made us very rich in experience both quality wise and cost wise.
Due to the previous trading background we have been rapidly growing in the international seafood trade circle since started. We currently enjoy established customers worldwide who ensure prompt sale of any product with our brand. Only in the first year we exported over a million dollar of different fishes from Iran. Interestingly shrimp, main item of Iran seafood, was not included in our exportation until recently.
Perhaps, what makes us really stand out in the Iranian seafood society is the fact that we have always managed to keep our customers happy despite the problematic nature of seafood business. This is certainly our most valuable achievement and will remain our goal forever.
