Trout rainbow

Our company TRUCHAS ALICURA devotes its efforts to the raise of rainbow trout (Oncorhynkus mykiss) in the lake Alicure of the Argentinean Patagonia.

This lake is fed by mountain ice which melts from the "Cordillera de los Andes" and It's famous by the purity of its waters.

The annual renovation of the waters is almost five times its volume, which renders it excellent for the trout raise.

It is important to highlight that no disease of the fish exists in the place, and for this reason we do not need to administer any antibiotic or medicine.

One of the cornerstones of our enterprise is environmental care. In fact, not only do we not harm the environment at all, but we regularly monitor and check the status of the water by means of exhaustive analyses.

Our company has a well-developed layout of all its processes, with lots of reproducers from which it obtains its own eggs.

These are incubated in a hatchery located in the same center raise, and such room is equipped with a system of temperature control of the eater, which allows us ti have young trouts during the whole year.

All our products can be fresh - cooled with ice or frozen - IQF or in block
