Our range of canned products goes to the medium-high sector of the market and is accordingly distributed through prestigious and renowned hotels and restaurants, supermarkets, catering and precooked food industries, and delicatessens.

We uses the best fish, selected on the wharf by ourselves, namely Bonito caught with traditional fishing tackle, from the Bay of Biscay.

Canned food of our make contains fish caught with environment-friendly selective fishing tackle that is harmless to other marine species. Besides, we participate in the integrated packing and waste management system.

The former processes is specialising in species of the family Scombridae, selecting, chopping, processing and sterilising fish, all is done, utilising the New Technologies as much as possible. This and the expertise of over skilled individuals forming our team are our keys to ensure that the products we offer to our customers are the best in the market. Approved by the Basque Governments Department for Health Services who awarded us the Health Certificates 12.06898/BI and 12.00171/BI, our company has always considered it a premise of survival to process the products with meticulous care and control, in compliance with the strictest standards of quality and hygiene within an established quality assurance system.

The technology we use is perfectly adapted to crafty canning, which ensures our customers are offered the best of quality. Exhaustive controls throughout the processing process and several generations of artisanal canners enable us to guarantee all our products.

Concretely, the activity we develop is the processing of: Bonito, Yellowfin, Skipjack, and Mackerel.

We are a factory of canned fish since 1936. Founded by Mr. Pedro Alegria Echaburu, the company has a place of business at Ondarroa, northern Spain, on the Bay of Biscay.
