At present the company has rights for over 1,000 hectares of sea for suspended farming of scallops in different areas along the Peruvian coastline. Our export production for 2007 was just below 100 tones of Roe On scallops in large and medium sized counts (10/20, 20/30 and 30/40). During 2008 we expect to produce over 180 tones of scallops and by 2010 we aim to reach a yearly export rate surpassing 1,000 tones.
The company is a sister company of Fibras Industriales S.A. and has rights for over 1,000 hectares of sea, for suspended farming of scallops, in different areas along the Peruvian coastline.
Sea Protein S.A. is a company dedicated to the farming, processing and distribution of marine species with special emphasis on large scale scallop farming.
We farm and export IQF Roe On scallops in large count sizes (10 / 20, 20 / 30, 30 / 40 and 40 / 60 units per Lb. )
