Jam is a type of confection obtained through combining whole or diced fruit or fruit pulp with different types of sugar, subjecting the resulting mixture to an evaporation process in order to
obtain the necessary degree of concentration.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
The process starts when fruit received from the orchard undergoes fine selection followed by washing. The washed fruit is steam cooked in a blender and later sieved and refined to obtain the pulps,
which are then combined with sugars in pre-determined proportions and pumped to the vacuum condensers, where they are evaporated to a concentration of 66 Brixs. Then, other additives are
incorporated, and the jam is cooled and packed automatically. The finished products are then stacked in the warehouse pending dispatch.
All the machinery and equipment used in the process is stainless steel.
