Realizing the potential of a $312 billion dollar industry requires a very high volume for generating profits.  Considering the expected profits to an investor, we must look to a long-term involvement.  In order to provide a conservative estimate of the returns, each party to this transaction should realize that the expected returns should not be based solely on the best-case scenario.  Once the product is well established and economies of scale rise, only then can Jam-ato Inc, expect viable profitibilaty.  Given our significant preproduction successes,  a 25% return is thus far likely to be warranted.  Our goal is to raise the necessary funding to allow Jam-ato Inc, to break through the market, making Jam-ato a household product.

The consumer goods sector is located within the processed food and packaged good industry; this is a $312 billion industry, with net profit margins of 10.7%.  A 2006 Consumer report found that nutritional value in the food, brand or company name and convenience are closely associated with food purchased for the home[see business plan].  Jam-ato plans to capitalize on these existing and growing demands by positioning itself in creating all natural healthy alternatives, by capitilizing and exhausting marketing opportunities and by bringing awareness and supply  to every corner of the country.

The apparent appeal and trend for ethnically-based food products are on the rise, thereby increasing the appeal of this product.  Jam-ato Inc. intends to price the product as a premium type product that is affordable enough to mass produce.  Several major supermarkets and high-end restaurants have signed letters of intent and are listing or employing the use of our product in their operations.  The enormous potential the product exhibits is demonstrated by these facts.

The Intellectual Property to Jam-ato Sweet Tomato Jam has been disputed by Motts Clamato Canada.  A year of discussions finally resulted in resolution and our ability to register the trademark in Canada.  Our legal representation, Gowlings, has continued to work with Motts for registration and approval to enter the US market.

Jam-atos Sweet Tomato Jam has all the characteristics of a premium quality and highly marketable product.  Jam-ato will also be featured on CBCs televised show The Dragons Den, and CBC has contacted Jam-ato Inc. to participate in an upcoming program of Newsworld featuring exotic food.  We participated in a sampling and demonstration at a well known Speciality shop called LaBottega in downtown Ottawa, Ontario with camera crews present to tape for the new show called Trend Trackers. We are appearing in the upcoming edition of Ottawa Magazine Nov.2007.  What's the "Jam-ato" with you is the big question????   Jam-ato Inc. awareness is on the rise, grabbing the attention of consumers as well as wholesalers and retailers. 

Jam-ato Inc. engages in the creation, manufacturing and marketing of branded jam in the Canadian marketplace and has plans to eventually expand into  the United States and Europe.  Jam-ato provides a wide variety of premium quality jams,with a production process that uses primarily tomatoes and other all-natural ingredients; this jam contains no preservatives.  Jam-ato Inc.  is  also persuing kosher,  certified organic  and sugar-free products.
