Turmeric is a yellow spice with subtle flavor which is obtained from dried grounded underground stem rhizome. The rhizome of Turmeric is a yellowish orange tuberous juicy stem. Turmeric rhizome is covered with segmented yellowish brown color thus its usage as a strong dyeing agent creating a permanent stain with just one drop of Turmeric juice from the rhizome.
