Perennial, height 50-60 cm, rugose leaves densely covered with hairs, large, violet flowers. The entire plant gives off a lovely characteristic and penetrating smell. It is used in gastronomy for
seasoning roasts and other foods; moreover it is used in oenology, liquor distillery, perfumery and pharmacy.
SOWING:in April or September, in seed-beds.
TRANSPLANTATION:in Septemberor Spring it can also be propagated via agamic reproduction.
DISTANCES:a row 40 cm from the other; cm 25-30 in the row.
QUANTITY: 5/6 gr of seeds per sq. m. of seed-bed.
