Xylitab? 100 and 200 are patented combinations of xylitol (USP/NF, Ph. Eur, JP, FCC) with pharmacopoeia or food approved binders.

You can choose between Xylitab? 100, 200, 200 CG and 300, which contain different binders and have different granulate particle size distributions. Together these products allow you to achieve a wide range of mouthfeel, consistency and tablet hardness properties for all categories of tablets.

Use of Xylitab? avoids the need for lengthy traditional granulation processes and allows dry mixing of tablet components in your manufacturing facility.

We offer four directly compressible grades of this useful excipient to meet all of your tabletting needs. Xylitab? granulates provide the convenience of direct compression and allow the benefits of xylitol to be fully realized in all types of tablets.

Xylitol is the sweetest of all the polyols. It is as sweet as sucrose, has no after-taste and is safe for diabetics. Xylitol has 40% less calories than sugar and, for this reason, a caloric value of 2.4 kcal/g is accepted for nutritional labelling in the EU and the USA. In crystalline applications, it provides a pleasant cooling effect, greater than that of any other polyol.

Xylitol is a naturally-occurring 5-carbon polyol sweetener. It is found in many fruits and vegetables and is even produced by the human body itself. Xylitol is made using renewable sources such as birchwood.
