Total quantities in MT and (whether it is under 1 L/C or differentL/Cs)2. Detailed specifications of the commodity including origin3. Size of each shipment (min. shipment 12500MT, the larger shipment themore it cost effective)4. Port Destination (FOB, CFR or CIF)5. Dates of required shipments6. Unloading rates (Price is based on the discharge rates of thatparticular port)7. Type of packaging (bagged or bulk)8. Type of payments (whether it is Fully Funded DLC, Standby L/C, Reservedblockfunds, Revolving L/C, confirmed or not, transferable or non-transferable)9. Names of Bank issuing and confirming Letter of Credit (Very importantto determine if it is workable and acceptable by the supplier).Any deviations from these factors could dramatically reflect the price ofthe commodity. Luck of information will be the grounds for not treatingyour inquiry seriously and not to reply. Since most inquiries missing alots of important information reflecting the price and due to commodityprice and shipping cost constant fluctuations, soft quote games are totalobsolete and complete waste of time, because it is not real.This is how it is being traded in real world:1. Buyer send signed, stamped LOI on buyer's letterhead reflecting allabove mentioned details, in addition detailed banking information andauthorization for fund verification or Bank Capability Letter (BCL).2. Buyer's financial capability will be verified. After verification,seller's commodity trader will contact traders of commodities of differentorigin (such as S. American, Australian, Indian etc) to obtain best pricefor that day based on required origin, specifications and date ofdeliveries. Contact the shipping company to obtain current shipping costbased on the size, destination, discharge rates etc. Only then you havereal quote. (This is time consuming process and will not be done unless itis proven that buyer is capable of purchasing or LC will be issued fromthe bank accepted by the seller)3. Seller will issue FCO for buyer to respond within 24 hours.4. Contract and final trade procedures will follow upon receiving signedFCO. We are not interested and will not reply to inquiries that are comingthrough the chain of brokers. We are not interested in any inquiriesunless it is proven to be genuine.We will honor NCND if required.
