             Rejuvelac is usually consumed straight out of the bottle, but some people prefer mixing it with other juices, such as pomegranate, cranberry, or others (tart juices seem to mix well).  As for its taste, what we hear most often is that it tastes like unsweetened lemonade, liquid unflavored yogurt, or beer.  If one finds the taste unappealing, mixing it is a great way to make it more palatable, and get some extra antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

The other main form of probiotic acidophilus is in supplements.  Most of these are soy based, but surprisingly some are dairy based as well.  The main problem with any powdered or dry supplement is that human bodies do not digest and assimilate the nutrients from them (acidophilus enzymes in this case) nearly as well as they do from living, liquid food; making them somewhat ineffective.
