Hog Lagoons

Organic Pure reduces the odor coming from Hog and Dairy lagoons by digesting the hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans and ammonia. The by products from these reactions are carbon dioxide, sodium sulfate and nitrogen gas.

The biological system digests the ammonia and phosphorous to lower the levels and improve the run off quality. The system becomes a non leachable product and can then be land applied without problems from water run off. The fecal and other organic materials are easily digested and turned into non leachable biomass, carbon dioxide and water.

The enzymes in Organic Pure are very efficient at dissolving scum build up found around filters and pumps. Sludge can be reduced by as much as 50% depending on the lagoon set up. The biological system in Organic Pure can work on both the Aerobic and Anaerobic sides of digestion. The digestion will also help lower the TSS (Total Suspended Solids) in the decanted water.

Because of the efficient removal of nitrogen and phosphorous, Organic Pure will control algae formation in settling ponds.
