Forrest is a 1/2 brother to several Great producers & money earners like:
Timber Hawn Hancock

His stud fee for 2009 is $500 for selected mares. Please do not think this low stud fee is a reflection of the quality of this horse. I know how tough the market is and I want to have the opportunity to seek out some of those very nice mares.

We feel very privileged to be able to own a horse of this quality & caliber.  Forrest Hancock is without a doubt one of the nicest stallions I have ever seen in this part of the country.

Everyone familiar with this bloodline will know they are superior ranch and using horses because of their athletic ability, sound bone, and quiet dispositions. Forrest Hancock is well known and recognized for producing colts that are big boned, good minded, correct with pretty heads and of course, roan.

Forrest is an own son of Hancocks Blue Boy. Several of Hancocks Blue Boys offspring have qualified for the World Show in tie-down calf roping, heading, and heeling. Forrest is a line bred Joe Hancock / Blue Valentine, 100% Foundation stallion bred by the famous Broken Bones Cattle Company in Lander, Wyoming where he spent a few years before coming to Tennessee and being put in a very nice breeding program under the direction of Mr Wayne Forsythe. Forrest Hancock is a bay roan who has sired 85 plus AQHA foals in his career with most of them being roan and a sire of proven rodeo performance horses.

Forrest is a finished rope horse and has been used as an all-around ranch horse. He is putting size, muscle, conformation and a great mind on his foals. Several of his foals are finished Roping Horses that are doing very well in the arena and working on the ranch.
As of June 2007 Forrest has had 85 registered foals with AQHA and out of those 85 the colors were:
