Aseel fowl

We are in to breeding of this great bird since last 10 years. For those interested in history & for those who recognise the nobility of this breed, we have a few birds to spare, for rearing.

Aseel fowl are very popular not only in India but also in Pakistan, Japan, Turkey Thailand and UK.They are a native breed with unusual appearance,having very short,hard,glossy feathers,so short that the breast bone is left exposed (and often the back of thr head & points of shoulders). Large boned,with broad shoulders,an upright stance,heavily muscled hips & square shanks, strong,curved neck and short beak: the Aseel is a very powerful bird.The face is rather predatory looking, with hawk like brows over pale, pearl colored eyes,with a small pea-comb & ear-lobes.They are facinately colored, with black breasted red, wheaten,dark,sprangled,white,grey,blue breasted red and black.They are very hardy,very vigorous and very tenacious fighters.The breed fascinates every body because of its long history and aristocratic disposition. Devoted parents with an indomitable spirit ( they kill snakes also to protect their young) plus an impressive physical appearance and plumage in a range of colors, the Aseel is a breed worth keeping.

Aseel are a native fowl (with reference to them in Manu Script dating back to 900 BC) , renowned for their fighting qualities.
