Beef breeding stock As with feeder and slaughter cattle, animals to be used as part of a beef breeding program can be supplied in large numbers. This includes varying age non-pregnant and early pregnant females as well as high quality bulls. To ensure the animals easily adapt and continue to perform in the destination country, Austock focuses on suitable cattle breeds from the tropical regions of Australia. The main breeds of cattle exported for use as beef breeding stock are Brahman, Droughtmaster and Santa Gertrudis.
