Iowa Lamb Corporation was established in 1983 and is one of the largest lamb processors in the United States. They are partially owned by lamb producers there are 13 owner/producers of Iowa Lamb. Another 500 producers in 14 states provide 430,000 lambs annually. By controlling the product through to case-ready cuts, they give more detailed feedback to producer-owners.

Mountain States Rosen is one of the most significant partnerships formed in the history of the American Lamb Industry. It combines B. Rosen & Sons, Inc., a three-generation lamb and veal processor/distributor, and the Mountain States Lamb Cooperative, a producer-owned cooperative representing sheep producers in 10 states. This venture is unprecedented and allows the combined company of Mountain States Rosen to oversee all phases of the supply chain, from farm to fabrication, and into various channels of distribution.
