we feed our desi hens a mix of:  
whole grains that include wheat, rice, barley, millet, swaank, desi corn
seed-cakes of cotton-seed, mustard-seed and sesame seed
fresh vegetables and green plants
sunflower seeds
mollases
rock salt
  
   
our hens are kept in a natural environment, full of sunlight and open air, thus ensuring that they are naturally healthier and able to fight off disease.
