Kpangnan Butter (Pentadesma Butyracea)
Kpangnan is the butter from the African Butter Tree (Pentadesma butyracea) which grows in the gallery rainforests and riverbank forests in West Africa. Kpangnan contains high amounts of vitamin A
and stigmasterol, a natural skin firming agent, which is an unsaturated plant sterol.
Although often referred to as golden shea, it is quite different. Similar to both shea and cocoa butters.
