WATER MOZZARELLA cheese

It is a "stretched-cured" cheese meaning that during the manufacturing process the curd is pulled, kneaded and shaped while it is still pliable. Therefore, it absorbs the flavors and juices of the ingredients surrounding it and is perfectly designed for cooking. Mozzarella is also low in fat; therefore, it is ideal to use even when dieting.

Our Fresh Mozzarella is handmade in smaller batches, from whole milk and has a softer, buttery texture and a delicate flavor. It's delicious served raw with ripe, farm-fresh tomatoes or as part of an antipasto platter.

Mozzarella has a mild, milky taste and is a great cooking cheese due to its good binding properties, moist texture, and ability to melt.

Ovoline - "Egg Size" pieces of fresh MOZZARELLA weighing approximately 4 ounces.
Ovoline are generally sold packed in  water and available in 16 oz Delicups or 3lb Tubs.

Bocconcini - Bite Size" nuggets of fresh MOZZARELLA weighing approximately 1-1/2 ounces.
Bocconcini are generally sold packed in  water and available in 8 oz Delicups or 3lb Tubs.

Ciliegine  - "Cherry Size" nuggets of fresh MOZZARELLA weighing approximately 1/2 an ounce . Ciliegine are generally sold packed in  water available in 8 oz Delicups or 3lb Tubs.
