The content will be as follows:
- Introduction to cooking extrusion technology
- Raw materials for cooking extrusion
- Components and functionality of cooking extruders
- Extrusion process and process parameters
- Troubleshooting in theory and practice
- Practical demonstrations
This course is especially for the production personnel like operators, but also for all other persons involved in extrusion technology like development and quality control people. The aim is to get
a better understanding for the extrusion process and to learn how this process will be influenced and can be controlled to achieve a consistent high quality of the extruded products.
This course will be held at the premises of the customers, so that the participants can stay at the manufacturing site and the regular production must not be stopped. It is planned to hold the
course for each shift in order to allow all the operators to attend, i.e. in the morning for the second shift whilst the first shift is running the production and in the afternoon vice versa. If a
third shift is available, the course will be held again the next day in the afternoon. Only for the trouble shooting in practice/practical demonstrations an extruder has to be available for 2-3
hours.
The language of this course is English. Each participant will also get course papers written in English. The number of participants is not limited, but should be around max. 10 persons per
shift.
