HAZEL NUTS

Hazelnuts are the nut of a strong, dense little bush. They have a distinct taste. They are very attractive to the eye, and it is always tempting to eat them before they are ripe. Unfortunately, before they ripen they are terribly bitter, lending them the name "Witch Hazel Nuts".  Hazelnuts are find in the Black Sea region of Turkey.  Hazelnuts can be eaten fresh, with skin, roasted and in kernel forms.  Hazelnut contains high levels of E, B1, B2, B6, omega 3, fatty acid and protein.  These results in lower blood cholesterol and no doubt lower risk of heart disease.  Arnika Foods, with its obligation to the EU, suppliers these nuts under EU conditions and standards
