Bandong is situated at the eastern Lincang city, Lincang Snowy Mountains the highest elevation reaching 3429.6 meters, while the lowest of the Xigui ancient ferry point by the Lancang River is only 750 meters above sea level, creating a unique three-dimensional climate. On December 11, 2009, with the formal signing of the cooperative agreement, these ancient tea trees will be ecologically protected and planned limited picking in implemented.
