The leaf grades result exclusively from the last stage of production, the sorting stage. There are 4 basic groups in orthodox production: Leaf, Broken, Fannings and Dust. These categories specify and indicate the different leaf sizes and associated strengths.

Tea Grading and Sorting Explained

If you need retail packaging, we require your full specification, inclusive of the packing size, box design and weight / quantity per box.

The minimum order quantity is 1 x  20 foot container. Please send your enquiry, giving quantity, grade, packing and destination port.

Various packing is available, like Kraft Paper, PE, PP, Jute bags, or to clients specification.

Packing: We supply tea in bulk packaging of 25 to 40 kg per bag, one 20 foot container load has 17.5 to 24 metric tons, depending on grade of tea.

CTC black tea is available in grades:  BOP,   BP1,   PF1,   PD

OTD black tea is available in grades: OP,   OPa1,   P1,   FBOP,   BOP,   PS,   BPS

The main product of our company is OTD black tea of all varieties, produced through a traditional process, which is closely monitored, from the phase of selecting fresh tea leaves, to the final processing and packing.
