This tea comes from the beautiful Darjeeling region in India which lies at an altitude of 1520m. It was scented with natural bergamot oil. The tea is certified organic by Control Union and is then packed locally and therefore creates more employment opportunities. The Fair Trade income from selling the tea has set up a high school for 250 children and started a mothers club to help women on family planning, guide them through maternity and childcare.
