Pot plants and greens: Covering a family of 600 varieties can be grown under shade houses namely, Ferns, Bromeliads, Heliconias, Ornamental Bananas, Gingers, Philodendrons, Palms, Cactii and Succulant ranges, Hoyas, Anthuriums,
Orchids, Alocasias, Aglaonemas,Acalypha, Beaucarnea, wide range of Begonias, Chlorophytum, Coleus, Codiaeum, Diffenbachia, Draceana, Eucalyptus, Ficus range, Fittonias, Hedera range, Maranta family groups, Monstera group, Peperomia, Pilea range, Sansviera range, Scindapsus range, Schefflera range, Strobilanthus, Syngonium range,
Tradescantia groups, Yucca, Cissus varieties, in the foliage segments.

Flowering crops: Anthuriums, Gerberas, Orchids, Roses, Carnation, Chrysanthemums, Gladiolus, Bulbs etc. Fruit crops: Tomato, Grapes, fruit nurseries, strawberries etc. Plantation: Tea, Coffee, Cardamom, Ginger, Turmeric, spices etc.

Malmo Agronets are used in shade cultivation of various Horticultural crops including flowering plants, foliage plants,
fruit and vegetable nurseries, plantation nurseries, forestry nursery, etc.

HORTICULTURAL INFORMATION

Several fastening techniques are possible to be used with shade netting. Eye holes are provided on the edges of the
fabric to join them together while fastening on the structures or with the fabric. Usage of UV stabilized fasteners and HDPE threads are recommended. Certain standard design clips and pallets are available for custom usage. Depending on the type of structure employed, one has to visualize the type of accessories that one may need to secure the fabric firmly in the shade house.

USAGE & FASTENING

We recommend the 95% shade nets for usage in Cattle sheds, Poultry houses, Construction Scaffolding and vehicular shades. .

It is also useful in summer to reduce the light level of some general purpose crops in certain geographic regions.

For plants that grow under extreme low light like Indoor plants, certain Orchids, plantation crops, Tea, Coffee,
Cardamom, we suggest 75% Agronets.

For plants that grow under partial light like general Pot and foliage plants and Cut greens, Orchids, Anthuriums, Ginger,
and other flowering pot plants use of 50% Agronets is recommended.

Roses, Strawberries. Gooseberries, Tomatoes, Cucumber and fruit bearing plants can thrive well under 25% shade netting.

Depending on the type of crop, its light and photosynthesis needs, the right choice of shade nets are critical. Malmo offers
the following recommendations for selection of Agronets.

SHADE SELECTION

Malmo Agronets are available in three colors (white, black and green) with a range of shade percentages (25%, 35%, 50%, 75% and 90%). Standard dimensions of these nets are 3 m (width) by 50 m (length). Besides this standard range, made
to order nets are also provided for specific requirements.
