Our Black teas are popular all over the world. PEKOE is a delicate grade of tea, pellet looking and black in colour. A typical characteristic of this tea is its curly and shotty appearance. Broken Orange Pekoe, a popular leaf size which helps t bring out a good balance of taste and strength. Ren tea BOP is a well made, neat leaf tea of medium size without excessive stalk or fibre from Western slopes of the central mountain tea planting districts. Gold BOP is a blend of teas from the finest tea gardens of the world-famous Western slopes of the mountains of Shri Lanka, grown 3500 ft. above sea level. Specially selected for their distinctive characters, our unique Gold Blend gives you a deep red cup with an exquisite flavour and aroma. Ren tea FBOP is a special blend comprising of teas manufactured in the Southern part of the island in tea gardens bordering the tropical rain forests. This full-bodied tea with a dark liquoring characteristicis for those who prefer a strong, lingering flavour.

Herbal teas - rosehip and peppermint. This is an excellent drink that is completely natural. Free of additives and flavouring.

Towards the latter part of the 20th century, the perceived health benefits of green tea led to a revival of its manufacture in Shri Lanka.
