The teas are packed in a variety of standardized tea chests, jute bags as well as paper sacks to suit the preferences of the buyers.

Each aspect of production, beginning with plucking, followed by the various stages of manufacturing, till the packaging of the final product, receives careful monitoring. The teas are processed in a modern, state-of-the-art tea-processing factory under strict quality controls to ensure that the consumer receives a superior product.

Renowned for its high quality, our teas enjoy immense popularity amongst buyers all over the country as well as in the overseas market. The teas are being marketed to our domestic consumers through the auction centers at Guwahati and Calcutta, as well as through direct sales to buyers all over India vide a well established distribution network.

At Kolony Tea Estate, we produce both the CTC (granular) as well as Orthodox (leaf) varieties of black tea. CTC teas are further classified, according to the size of the grain, as Brokens, Fannings, Dust and Secondaries. The Orthodox comprises of Whole leaf, Brokens, Fannings and Dust.
