BLACK ORTHODOX TEA-Most teas we find in the west tend to be Orthodox teas. Orthodox teas have the appearance of a leaf either whole or broken and are distinctly different from CTC teas which tend to be in the form of round globules.Orthodox processing is done either by machines or by hand. Hand processing is used for high quality teas. While the methods employed in orthodox processing differ by tea type, this style of processing results in the high quality loose tea sought by many connoisseurs.There are many grades of orthodox tea like FTGFOP1, SFTGFOP1, TGFOP1/TGFOP, GFOP1,FOP/FOP1 etc.
