Description: The Barcelona chair and stool was introduced at the 1929 Barcelona Exposition in Spain. They are unique sculptural objects with a single-piece construction frame and cushions covered with individual leather panels. The Barcelona, which is also sometimes referred to as the Pavilion chair, has a worldwide reputation as a modern classic and has been in production ever since its introduction.
Materials: The frame is made from mirror polished stainless steel, welded in a one piece cross. The seat and back cushions are adapted to fit the curve of the frame and the individual leather panels are made from a single hide.
