Aluminum PCB is one of metal-based PCB, including copper foil layer, thermal insulating layer and metal substrate layer three parts. Copper foil layer is requested for strong current capacity, therefor it should be used for thick copper foil. Thermal insulating layer is the key of aluminum PCB, which is made from special polymer filled with special ceramics. The aluminum PCB is finished by gold plating, tin coating, OSP-anodizing, gold depositing and non-lead ROHS process. It features thin thermal-insulating layer, low heat resistance, non -magnetic, good radiating and mechanical performances.

Now the aluminum PCB is widely used in many fields such as power modules, audio amplifiers, LED, motor drivers etc. As an advocate to promote energy-saving lamps and colorful energy-saving LED lights which are very popular by the market, while the aluminum PCBs used in LED lights have begun a large-scale applications.
