Character: White or off-white crystalline powder, Hygroscopic and unstable. Acid, alkali, heat may accelerate its decomposition. This product is insoluble in benzene, chloroform, slightly soluble in ether, amyl alcohol, soluble in water, ethyl acetate, dioxane and acetic acid.
