Use: oxalic acid dextral citalopram is the active isomer of citalopram (S-citalopram), highly selective inhibition of 5 - hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) reuptake of norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake little effect. Increase the concentration of 5-HT in the synaptic gap, thereby generating antidepressant effect by blocking the 5-HT reuptake. Mainly applied to the treatment of severe depression.
