Uses:
Sodium formate is the raw material in the manufacture of formic acid, oxalic acid and sodium hydrosulfite. Used in the leather industry, it serves as
a camouflage acid in chrome tanning. Sodium formate is also used as a catalyst and stabilizer, and as a reducing agent in the printing and dyeing of textiles.
