Forming a Lithuanian limited-liability company, called an UAB, is the fastest, most convenient and cost-effective way for a foreign citizen to establish himself as a resident in Lithuania. Being owner of Lithuanian UAB gives you right to get visa and many benefits of being a legitimate resident. 

UAB is required for any non-European citizen to get residence permit, purchase property in Lithuania.

Registering an UAB allows you as a foreigner to start a business - or relocate an existing company in Lithuania safely, legally, and with the appropriate tax and liability shelters to protect your assets both here and at home from legitimate, or fraudulent lawsuits. 

 The minimum authorized capital for setting company in Lithuania is equal to 10'000 Lithuanian Litas (about 2'896 Euro), there is no maximum amount. After putting authorized capital into your company's bank account you can start using it for business development needs (office rent, advertisement, and salary) without any restrictions. Nowadays all foreigners ( Indian, Chinese, Korean, Pakistani, African,Iranian and other) are allowed from early beginning to  be presidents of own companies and to run company’s bank account. When you come to Lithuania you should go to the bank sign new contract with them and after that you can form authorized capital according to your plans and wishes.

According to Lithuanian law Lithuanian company may have not more than 50 shareholders, but we do not recommend our client to have more than 1 person in company as it may cause difficulties in getting residence permit, its better to register several companies if more than 1 person wants to immigrate.
