Efe International Foods is a Houston-based Importer / Distributor of Turkish EVOO, Organic EVOO and (soon) other fine groceries. We have launched the distribution of our EVOO brands here in the Greater Houston area and Austin, targeting the Ethnic market; specifically Indo-Pak, Middle Eastern, and Halal-Kosher, as well as Gourmet Food and Health stores. Initial placements have been well accepted and momentum / velocity at the account level has been beyond our expectations. The TARIS (tar-ish) and KIRLANGIC (kir-lang-itch) brands are very popular in Turkey and surrounding European-North African-Asian countries, and are synonymous with quality, consistency and value. All products are farmed, picked, processed and packaged in the region surrounding the city of Izmir, on the Aegean Sea. The area is renowned for having the perfect soil and climate to produce the finest olives, as well as the best processing technologies and facilities for extracting oils and other byproducts. The Taris Organic EVOO is the only Turkish oil to be certified by the International Organic Product Regulatory Organization (ECOCERT) .
