Neochemical is a Spanish company that has developed and patented on worldwide level an active ingredient, 2-butanone peroxide, with high microbiological effectiveness and wide spectrum of action. This active ingredient has allowed Neochemical to create biocides, sterilizers, antiseptics and surface disinfectants within the health, pharmaceutical, environmental, food and agricultural industries. The 2-butanone peroxide dossier has been submitted (PT-1) and pre-registered at the European Human Hygiene Biocidal Products Registry. (EC Number: 215-661-2 / CAS number 1338-23-4) Neochemical's products have successfully passed the UNE-EN tests to determine their bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal, mycobactericidal and sporicidal activity and are already being sold to hospitals, clinics, drugstores and private companies. All products developed and manufactured by Neochemical are not carcinogenic, teratogenic or ecotoxic. There is also no risk of dermal irritation or sensitivity. All our products have as well passed the Acute Dermal Irritation test (Draize), the Dermal Sensitivity test and the Acute Ocular Irritation test (all EPA standards) of their categories.
